Crafty Christmas: Yarn Wreath

December 28, 2009
by

I love the cozy casual look of yarn for the home in contrast to sparkly holiday decor. Click below for this simple how-to.

Yarn Wrapped Wreath:

SUPPLIES

Yarn

Foam Wreath

Hot Glue Gun & Glue

Scissors

Wreath: Take the end of the yarn and wrap it around the wreath, pull it tight, and tie it in a knot to secure the first loop. Proceed to wrap the yarn around the wreath pulling the ball of yarn through the center to prevent tangles. When you are ready to change to another yarn color cut the yarn and tie the end. Proceed until the whole wreath is covered.

Poms: I followed this simple diy at domestifluff for the poms. Add  some hot glue to the yarn balls and press them to the wreath. Voila!
